Aizawl, Mayanmar: A Myanmarese woman was arrested for allegedly carrying 84 grammes of heroin in Zemabawk area, police said today.

Thanthuami (44) of Tahan was arrested in Myanmar for alleged possession of the contraband, smuggled from Myanmar, last night. The seized contraband was worth around Rs eight lakhs in the local market.

Earlier on Sunday, 126 grammes of heroin were seized from the state capital, the police said.
